Only one homesite remains available for a new home in the downtown are of Winfield. Two design options are available including the Forsyth ranch plan or the two story Rockwell plan.

Numerous seasonal festivals and cultural events include Winfield’s Good Old Days, the Autumn Fest at DuPage County fairgrounds, DuPage County Fair and the Cantigny Sculpture and Fine Arts Festival.

Winfield offers an abundance of recreational activities for the whole family. The Park District offers 14 parks and includes the WINFIT Family Fitness Center. For golf enthusiasts, Klein Creek and Cantigny public courses offer challenging play. In addition, the Illinois Prairie Paths and the Great Western Trail run through Winfield and provide scenic views of the substantial land holdings of the DuPage County Forest Preserve. The paths are frequently used for walking, biking, horse back riding and running.

Winfield offers commuters easy access to main transportation hubs. The Union Pacific West commuter rail stops in downtown Winfield and offers easy access to Chicago. I- 355 (North-South Tollway) can be easily accessed from

Roosevelt Road

to the east and I-88(East-West Tollway) is easily accessed to the South on

Winfield Road
